"For the Love of Art" Exhibit and Silent Auction
I have just decided to participate in the "For the Love of Art" Exhibit and Silent Auction in January 2010. This is a fundraiser event for the Arts Alliance in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This will be my first time participating in this event. The theme is "Valentine" and I'm looking forward to coming up with a fun idea for this new painting. I will post it here when it's complete. There will be a closing reception on January 29, 2010. The Arts Alliance is located at 1100 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM 87125.
If there are any other artists in the area that would like to participate, please contact the Arts Alliance by November 6, 2009. Their phone # is (505)268-1920 and the web address is http://abqarts.org.

I am having a sale of my fine art prints on Imagekind. From now until October 31, 2009, my prints can be purchased at 25% off. The discount is already reflected in the price, so a discount code is not needed. Imagekind creates beautiful prints with several types of fine art papers and canvas to choose from. They also offer custom framing, with a large selection of beautiful mats and frames.

View From the Mesa by Gayle Faucette Wisbon
Imagekind has a great community of artists who create and sell their art as prints and greeting cards. Some artists join groups to showcase their work according to a particular theme or subject matter. I created the American Southwest group and am really happy to see it featured on Imagekind today.
This group was created to display the beauty and diversity of the American Southwest. It is comprised of 65 artists and includes over 400 beautiful images from the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas and Utah.
