"Memories of Greece"
I came across this photo the other day and thought I would share it here. It is a photo of a commissioned wall painting I did sometime in the 90's for my friend, Maria. The photo is a little fuzzy, I believe I took it with a disposable camera. The painting measures 80"h x 40"w and is painted in acrylics in a niche above the fireplace in her living room. Her husband is from Greece, so they wanted a scene that would remind them of his homeland. I have never been to Greece, but they provided me with lots of reference [...]

Art.com is having a contest through their Facebook fan page, called "America's Next Master Artist". The theme is "Life in Motion". "Dancing Poppies" is my entry in the contest. Voting begins on April 23, 2010.
