Artist Rising is a print on demand site owned by art.com. This was the first print on demand site I ever joined back in January 2007. The artists have been through many ups and downs with the site, but I'm excited that they are finally revitalizing the site. One of the new features is more print sizes to choose from.
One of my own favorite paintings is "Desert Beauty". This is available as a giclee print on heavy acid-free watercolor paper in sizes 8x10, 12x16, 16x20, 20x24 and 24x32. It's also available on archival photographic paper in the same sizes. Custom matting and framing are also available.

If you have ever been to an art show or gallery, you may have noticed a "red dot" placed on or next to a piece of artwork. This means the artwork has been sold. Some artists use them on their websites, as well, to indicate a sold artwork. I use them here on my site and just wanted to explain this for anyone who might have been wondering what those little red dots mean. Here is some additional information about the red dot in an article from the Davis Dominguez Gallery.Comment on or Share this Article →
